This & That: a sample

Pancake Syrup

1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. water
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. maple flavoring
In a medium saucepan, combine sugars and water; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in maple flavoring. Makes 2 cups

This & That: a sample

Russian Salad Dressing

1 1/2 c. ketchup
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. paprika
2 or 3 T. instant onion
1/4 tsp. minced garlic
Mix all ingredients together throughly with wire whisk. Store in uncovered container in refrigerator 1 day before use.
